The Sky is The Limit!!!
One of the MANY benefits of joining the MATCH Academy is the opportunity to acquire various types of scholarships. Throughout the MATCH program, students are introduced to different career pathways. Following that, they are then offered the chance earn scholarships towards higher education in those fields that they have learned about and are interested in.
Some of those many programs that offer scholarships include:
- Careers Through Culinary Arts Programs (C-CAP) -C-CAP prepares 3,784 high school students in 25 schools for college and career opportunities in the restaurant and hospitality industry. C-CAP provides job training and internships, curriculum enrichment for high school culinary classrooms, career exploration and advising opportunities, scholarships through cooking competitions, college advising, and teacher professional development.
- California Association (FCCLA) - FCCLA members will strengthen skills, forge friendships, and make a positive difference in today's world through participation in Competitive Events, serving in leadership positions, attending conferences across the nation, networking with youth leaders, and attaining essential college- and career-ready skills.
- Pro start Culinary Competition
- An accredited four-year university
- A community college prior to transferring to a college or university
- A public or private advanced occupational training institution
