The Global Safety & Security Academy (GSS) equips students with vocational, technical and academic tools to succeed in post-secondary education and in the workforce. We are committed to the academy excellence of our students and enhancing their leadership abilities in our community.
While academic rigour remains a central focus of the instructional program for GSS, the GSS Academy encourages students to partake in extracurricular events and activities as a means to develop their leadership abilities. Among the extracurricular activities GSS students participate in are our GSS Security Team, which provides our students the opportunity to serve our community. Students participate in 10 events annually in which they help provide crowd and traffic control along with assistance with event set up and clean up.
